Backflip Trampoline

Trampoline is for people of all ages. It provides great fun for young kids, teenagers, middle-aged individuals, athletes and retired people. It can be used for recreation or as a serious sports activity. It is the perfect package for family entertainment.

A trampoline can be best enjoyed if you know the basic tricks in trampolining. Basic tricks include bouncing and the front flip, while the backflip trampoline trick is considered more advanced. Many people never tried the backflip trampoline trick because it can be rather dangerous.

Backflip trampoline or the back-tuck is more difficult to do than the front flip. It is a 360o turn in the air. It consists of a series of actions, including the jump, the ascent, the tuck, the turn and the landing. It is difficult to do all these actions in the short time that you are in mid-air, especially for a beginner. You should need a coach or a trainer to guide you when you try to accomplish this trick. You need to have powerful arms, legs and stomach, as well as good ‘air-sense’ to be successful. To achieve powerful arms, legs and stomach, you can do planche exercises such as bench presses and dumbbell lifting. To develop your strength, use the horizontal bars. To develop ‘air-sense’, use a harness when jumping up and down.

Executing a backflip on a trampoline is very dangerous. Have enough patience and prepare yourself by practicing hard. Condition your body to be flexible and strong enough to perform all the actions required to make a successful backflip trampoline trick. Lastly, discipline yourself by having the right diet and nutrition.

Once you have learned how to do proper backflip trampoline, you can move on to the double backflip trampoline. It is more challenging because you also need to double your strength and confidence. This is not as simple as it looks. A Double backflip is performed by keeping a tight tuck on the first flip, then pulling it even tighter on the second flip. Remember to keep your arms close to you, jump high and do the flip quickly.

Double backflip on a trampoline is more risky. You should watch your neck and head at all times. You can easily injure yourself if you fail to perform the trick well. It is fine if you land on your knees or butt at first, as long as you are still within the trampoline area. After more practice, you should be able to make a landing on your feet.

Remember that trampoline backflip is not a simple trick, but once you get the hang of it, it will just be as easy as jumping and bouncing up and down. A backflip comes very naturally as you spend more time trampolining.
